Conference dinner-reception at the Museum Plantin and Moretus

The Museum Plantin and Moretus in Antwerp is unique in the world: it shows the original 16th Century printing office, library and house of the Plantin-Moretus family and, with this, it is the only museum in the world to be recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Together with Johannes Gutenberg, Plantin and Moretus developed the printing technique in Renaissance Europe and, in doing so, made the spreading of influential texts possible on a wider scale. Their work can be regarded as a major contribution to the historical development of intellectual and artistic life.

The conference dinner-reception will take place inside the museum. We will have the museum to ourselves (no other visitors allowed), and you will have the possibility to walk through the house, printing shop and library by way of free guided tours.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity!
