PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Paper acceptance will be based upon originality of the work, strictly implemented methods or models, quality of results, impact of the scientific advances to the field of thermal hydraulics, conclusions supported by data, proper citing of references, and use of correct grammar and spelling.
The submission of a paper is free of charge but authors will be invited to register to the event (one registration is required for each accepted paper).
The conference proceedings will be distributed on a flash drive.
Selected papers will be published in the Special issues of Nuclear Technology, Nuclear Science and Engineering, and Nuclear Engineering and Design.

It is the responsibility of the author to get all co-author, internal reviews and institution approvals prior submission.

POSTER COMPETITION

  • What? 2-Minutes poster pitch competition
  • Who? Students and young researchers (Age 35 and under) who are first author of the work presented and who are attending the conference
  • How?
    • Step 1: Send a poster title and abstract to nureth19@sckcen.be using the conference abstract template. You are allowed to submit the same title and abstract to the regular conference as well (be aware: the regular conference deadline is earlier!).
    • Step 2: After acceptance of your abstract, prepare your poster (A0 - portrait), upload an electronic version to the conference sharepoint and bring a paper version to the conference.
    • Step 3: Present your poster to the Honors & Awards panel in a 2-minutes poster pitch during a poster session.
    • Step 4: If selected, collect your poster award during the Honors & Awards session.
  • When? Abstract submission deadline: November 30, 2021. Poster submission deadline: February 6, 2022.

MOVIE COMPETITION

  • What? 1-Minute movie competition
  • Who? All conference attendees
  • How?
    • Step 1: Send a movie title and abstract to nureth19@sckcen.be using the conference abstract template. The movie can show your experiment, simulation or other related topics.
    • Step 2: After acceptance of your abstract, prepare your movie (max. 1080p resolution) and upload it to the conference sharepoint.
    • Step 3: Your movie will be shown on screens during the conference and will be evaluated by the Honors & Awards panel.
    • Step 4: If selected, collect your movie award during the Honors & Awards session.
  • When? Abstract submission deadline: November 30, 2021. Movie submission deadline: February 6, 2022.
